Employees of Pulse Energy New Zealand Limited (Pulse Energy), their immediate families, and employees of any agencies connected in any way with the Prize Draw or helping to set up the prize draw are ineligible to enter. This promotion commences at 10am on 1 March 2017 and closes at midnight on 30 June 2017 (Promotion Period).
You can enter the prize draw once only, and must enter for yourself exclusively and not on behalf of any other person. Multiple, incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries (as determined by Pulse Energy) will be deemed invalid.
Each entry, which is valid and submitted correctly during the Promotion Period, will be entered into the Prize Draw. To enter you will need to successfully enter your personal information at the end of the Survey.
By entering the Prize Draw, you acknowledge that you have read and understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Pulse Energy reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process or who engages in improper or unlawful conduct that may affect the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
Pulse Energy takes no responsibility for any lost, late or illegible entries, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access telecommunications network services, or any other error or malfunction.
There will be one (1) prize winner (Winner) only.
The Winner will receive a prize being up to $75,000 (including GST) worth of electricity credits to the Winner’s Pulse account, on the terms and conditions set out below (Prize). The Winner will receive the Prize by being granted $100 per month credit for electricity usage for 62.5 years, unless he or she notifies Pulse that he or she wishes to be given a greater amount of credit per month for electricity usage (of up to $4,000 per year), in all cases up to a total value of the electricity credits of no more than $75,000. In all cases, the $75,000 credit may only be used in relation to electricity for a residential property and must be used within 62.5 years of the Prize being notified to the Winner. The Prize is not transferable, refundable nor redeemable for cash, except that Pulse Energy reserves the right to pay out the remaining credit on the Prize to the Winner at any time.
The Prize Draw will be conducted by random draw on or about 6 July 2017 and Pulse Energy will endeavour to notify the Winner using the contact details supplied in the Survey as soon as practicable following the Prize Draw.
Where attempts to contact the winner fail (e.g. when the winner cannot be contacted by phone after three attempts or mail sent is returned) or the winner is unable to accept or receive the prize, Pulse Energy may in its sole discretion select another winner. Pulse Energy’s determination of the Winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Pulse Energy is not liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning the Prize.
The Winner must be or become a customer of Pulse Energy in relation to their permanent residential address in order to claim the Prize, and must remain a residential electricity customer of Pulse Energy throughout the duration of utilising the Prize. If the Winner is under the age of 18, he/she must nominate a parent or legal guardian who must accept the Prize on his or her behalf until the Winner turns 18, when the remainder of the Prize will be transferred to the Winner’s name, on the Terms and Conditions. The Prize must be used in relation to a residential property on and subject to Pulse’s residential terms and conditions as notified by Pulse Energy.
The Winner’s residential address may change from time to time in accordance with Pulse’s residential terms and conditions of energy supply. If the Winner switches from Pulse Energy to another electricity retailer at any stage after claiming the Prize, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited any remaining part of the Prize.
The Winner must be available for the preparation of all publicity that may be reasonably required by Pulse Energy, including the use of the Winner’s name, likeness, image and/or voice may be used in any publicity material in any media. Winners under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent / legal guardian when the prize is awarded.
